সংক্ষিপ্ত বর্ণনা

 

Narishiksha Academy, a renowned institution for girls’ education in Sylhet Division, was established in 1995 by the Ex Mp and Minister of State Mr. Ebadur Rahman Chowdhury with the financial help from the then Premier Begum Khaleda Zia. It started the secondary courses under Comilla Board in 1996 and became under MPO coverage in 1998 as the honorable MP Mr. Shahabuddin extended his co-operation in this regard. The Degree classes were started here in session 2005-2006 under the NationalUniversity. As a degree college it was enlisted under the government’s monthly pay order in 2010 on the recommendation of the honorable MP Mr. Shahabuddin. The college has a staff of 23 teachers including one Principal, one Vice Principal and 13 employees. About 8 hundred students are now studying in various levels here. The results in different examinations are quite good. In the past Degree Examination 8 students got first division and in the past HSC Examination 6 students secured GPA 5 from this institution.

The college has on exquisitely beautiful campus with woody and garden plants. It got the Prime Minister's award for tree plantation in 2003 and its scenic beauty attracts the common people.
